The Chester County Jazz Festival


This year our foundation has been selected as a Non-Profit Benefactor for the Chester County Jazz Festival 2012!  

The Chester County Jazz Festival, June 29 through July 1, 2012, will be presenting live concert events at both the Asplundh Concert Hall on the campus of West Chester University, and at Hoopes Park in West Chester, PA. This year’s festival features international icons of jazz Peter White, Warren Hill, Ronnie Laws and Gerald Veasley, as well as various regional and local jazz performers, including B.D. Lenz, The Criterions, Tom Braxton, Karen Rodriquez Latin Jazz Ensemble and Gary Davis. We hope to see you there!


Schedule of Events:
Friday, June 29
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m: “Battle of the Youth Jazz Bands” in the Chester County Historical Society in West Chester, PA.
7:00 p.m.: International guitarist extraordinaire Peter White takes the stage in the Asplundh Concert Hall on the campus of West Chester University.

Saturday, June 30
11:00 a.m.: National, regional and local smooth jazz, Latin jazz, jazz vocalists, and straight-ahead jazz artists such as Gary Davis and Dotsero in Hoopes Park in West Chester, PA. This open-air music event will also include exhibitors, vendors and food.
8:30 p.m.: International headliner Warren Hill will close out the evening.

Sunday, July 1
The free festivities continue at Hoopes Park
11:00 a.m.: Performances including Tom Braxton and Gerald Veasley.
4:30 p.m.: Ronnie Laws takes the stage to wrap up the festival.



 

Five Below Fundraiser


The Stephen Chandler Ericson Foundation is pairing up with Five Below to put on a fundraiser this Spring! Here are the details:

What: Five Below fundraiser with 10% of your pre-tax purchase amount donated to The Stephen Chandler Ericson Foundation
When: March 20th - April 21st
Where: Five Below locations in Downingtown & Concordville
How: We will be releasing a flyer through various mediums, including this website, that you will be able to print off and bring into Five Below when you go shopping. All you have to do is present it at the register at the time of purchase!

PROGRAMS

Corporate Matching
An easy way to make your gift go further!

Many companies have a program through which they will ‘match’ the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to The Stephen Chandler Ericson Foundation.

Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Most corporate procedures are simple. Here is an example of how most corporate procedures work, please note the following:

  • Request a Matching Form from your company.Complete and submit the form with donation information to your company
  • Complete and submit the form required for verification to The Stephen Chandler Ericson Foundation along with your gift.
  • The Foundation will verify the completed form and return it to the company.
  • The company issues a matching gift contribution to The Stephen Chandler Ericson.
  • Completed forms can be sent with your personal gift to:
